Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Lionel A. and Elizabeth M. (Lanoue) Schenck. He had been employed by HEDCO for many years and was a Marine Corp and Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.
He is survived by two sisters, Brenda Schenck of Pawtucket and Sharon McDermott of Denver, Colorado and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, March 19th from 1 pm until 3:30 pm with a service and Military Honors at 3:30 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
